WANTED:
Philanthropists,
humanitarians, social activists, leaders, any and all who are interested
in promoting human welfare around the world - to vanquish the
root cause of all social problems - Ignorance.
While
there exists the need to administer immediate frontline assistance in
areas of poverty, hunger, violence and disease, aid is too often limited
to treatment rather than prevention and cure. Humanitarian aid needs
a new "branch" that really should be at it's root - The
Ministry of Intellectual Health or some such. Individuals are
best liberated from their problems when they are able to solve or better
yet, prevent their problems by being better thinkers. We are saying
that there needs to be a force (no laws or thought police) in society
which promotes and facilitates healthy thinking in the citizenry for
the good of humanity.
Mindvendor endeavors to enlist a community of "cognitive humanitarians"
to get the ball rolling on this vital long-term solution.
This
site will serve as a prompt for your consideration and action. The vision
for Mindvendor's mission is too great for this one-woman show. Thus
much is in the "forthcoming" stage; but in the meantime, I
have erected the bare bones of this concept in the hope that you see
the wisdom of building a movement which promotes a climate of duty and
awareness of Intellectual Health. I welcome and urge
your feedback.

Mindvendor
is agnostic. We do not endorse or represent any particular world view
or political party. Our main objective is doing what it takes to get
people to think for themselves and to do it well. We
offer no particular discipline or method. Our goal is to help people
recognize the need and to help motivate a desire for the rewards
of healthy thinking.
Mindvendor
offers food for thought and mental workouts by way of selected links
and forthcoming essays for starters. But the one feature of this site
that I struggle with most is how best to encourage the involvement of
your time toward raising consciousness for this nascent movement. I
am looking for special people indeed, who understand the need and have
the passion to drag this revolution into existence.
